Terms of Sale

1. Seller

2. Products

We sell artisanal pasta from organic Senatore Cappelli durum wheat and grass-fed organic beef, pork, and lamb, all produced on our farm. All prices include Italian VAT (IVA).

3. Order confirmation

The sale contract is concluded when payment is confirmed by Stripe and the "Order received" email is sent. The seller may only cancel an order in case of product unavailability, with full refund.

4. Delivery

Products are shipped by courier within Italy and to other European Union countries. The courier (for example Poste Italiane, BRT, SDA, GLS, DHL, UPS or others) is chosen by the customer at checkout between the cheapest and the fastest option available for the delivery address given. The courier's price is increased by a €1.00 per-parcel packaging contribution and is shown in full at checkout, before payment: it is the exact amount charged. When a real-time price is not available, deliveries within Italy use the standard Poste Italiane rate table. Courier delivery is not currently available for destinations outside the European Union.

In the Roma and Viterbo provinces, the customer may choose, instead of courier, free delivery by our farm van on the dates shown at checkout, usually the third Sunday of the month; the order deadline is shown at checkout. Orders placed after the deadline are delivered on the following round.

Free pickup at the farm is available to all customers, by appointment: the seller contacts the customer to agree the pickup day.

Meat, sold frozen, is available only by farm van delivery (Roma and Viterbo provinces) or farm pickup; it is never shipped by courier.

No product is shipped or delivered before the availability date shown on the product page at the time of purchase.

5. Payment

Payment is by credit/debit card via Stripe, a PCI-DSS-certified payment processor. No card data passes through or is stored on our servers.

6. Right of withdrawal — exclusion for perishable foods

Under Article 59(c) of Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), the standard 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to goods that can deteriorate or expire rapidly. Therefore, for our meat (even frozen) and artisanal pasta, withdrawal is not available once an order is confirmed.

For quality issues (defective product, shipping damage, wrong order), the statutory legal guarantee of conformity (Italian Consumer Code arts. 128 et seq.) applies: write to info@forredeltreja.it within 14 days of delivery with photos and your order number; we will replace the product or refund at our discretion.

7. Jurisdiction

For disputes with consumers, the competent court is the one of the consumer's residence or domicile in Italy (Italian Consumer Code art. 66-bis).
